Canada Post Staff Strike
Due to the interruption of Canada Post services since September 25, 2025, some Desjardins Investment Solutions documents could not be sent by mail. These documents will be sent once the strike ends. However, additional delays due to this interruption can be expected.
For any client-related payments, we encourage you to update the payment method in your business systems from “Cheque” to “Direct Deposit” or “Electronic Funds Transfer.” If you have any further questions, please contact your Business Development Advisor.
Automatic Conversion Program
The Automatic Conversion Program allows holders of Desjardins Funds and Portfolios in Series A and T units who invest a minimum of $250,000 (in eligible funds) to save on management fees by automatically converting their holdings into Series K and L units, respectively.
For the same fund, Series K and L units carry management fees that are 0.10% lower than those of Series A and T units.
Conversion is triggered automatically once the eligibility threshold is met, with no action required on your part, and at no cost.
Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, units held by an investor are automatically converted into an equivalent value of corresponding units of the same fund on a daily basis, after market close, as follows:
| Fund Type | Units Held | Units Converted | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| All Desjardins Funds | A | K | Eligible for registered plans |
| All Desjardins Funds | T | L | Not eligible for registered plans |
Units must be held in an account with Desjardins Financial Services Firm Inc.
(Fund names are based on official terminology from Desjardins Funds website).
Units must be held in an account with Desjardins Financial Services Firm Inc. Furthermore, any conversion involving Class A or T units of a Fund may only be carried out if the same Fund is also available in Class K or L units, as applicable, and if the investor meets the eligibility requirements for holding Class K or L units, including minimum purchase amounts and minimum account balance thresholds.
The minimum initial lump-sum investment required for Class K or L units is $250,000, and investors must maintain a minimum account balance of $250,000 at all times after the account is opened. Investors may also participate in a pre-authorized contribution plan, provided that the $250,000 investment threshold in Class K or L units is met.
Depending on the circumstances, if the investor no longer meets the eligibility requirements established by the Manager, Class K and L units will be automatically converted—without prior notice—into the class of units of the same Fund originally held by the investor. These units may carry higher combined management and fixed administration fees.
