Investment Objective
 
The objective of the Desjardins Alternative Investments Fund is to provide unitholders with moderate income and long-term capital growth. To do so, the Fund invests mainly in real estate investment trusts (REITs), income trusts, bonds indexed to inflation, Canadian federal or provincial Treasury Bills and top-quality Canadian money market securities. The Fund may also invest in a limited percentage of stocks and bonds of Canadian or international companies.
 
Investment Strategies
 
To achieve the Fund’s objective, the portfolio manager:

DGAM and SINOPIA may undertake securities lending transactions to generate additional income.
