Investment Objective
   
The objective of the Desjardins Québec Balanced Fund is to provide unitholders with moderate income and long-term capital growth. To do so, the Fund invests in stocks of Québec companies or debt securities issued by the government, municipalities, public or parapublic organizations of Québec. The Fund may also make term deposits in Québec financial institutions.
 
Investment Strategies
 
To achieve the Fund’s objective, the portfolio manager:
 

Weights each asset class based on market forecast and the potential of each market;

Entrusts the management of the different asset classes to advisors with diversified and complementary management styles;

Focuses on diversification to limit risk;

Has the authority to make safe haven investments in the event of significantly negative market situations;

May undertake securities lending transactions to generate additional income.
