The objective of the Desjardins Short-Term Income Fund is to provide unitholders with high income. To do so, the Fund invests mainly in government bonds, high-quality money market instruments and first mortgages.
  
Investment Strategies
  
To achieve the Fund’s objective, the portfolio manager:
 

Selects government and corporate issues with good credit ratings;

Emphasizes diversification to maintain a low level of risk;

Selects issues with the aim of increasing or decreasing the portfolio’s average duration;

May invest in foreign assets;

May use derivatives;

May undertake securities lending transactions to generate additional income.
