Investment Objective
 
The objective of the Desjardins Money Market Fund is to provide unitholders with steady income while protecting capital and maintaining liquidity. To do so, the Fund invests mainly in short-term money market securities, particularly commercial paper and bankers’ acceptances, Treasury Bills and short-term corporate, municipal or school bonds.
 
Investment Strategies
 
To achieve the Fund’s objective, the portfolio manager:

Selects securities based on relative values;

Diversifies risks by investing in numerous issuers, both governments and companies;

Adjusts the portfolio duration according to its forecasts of short-term interest rate trends ;

Does not use derivatives;

Does not invest in foreign assets.
